Quite often it happens that I start running, don’t feel like it much, but after 3km I get into the ‘zone’ and end up running way more (and faster) than I had initially planned.
Well, the other way around happens, too.
I was super motivated this morning and had mapped out a fun, new 20K route. I had my hydration pack freshly filled and I was full of positive spirits … only that after 3K I noticed that my heart rate was already pretty high and I was sweating more than usual (if that’s possible) … so, listening to my body I mentally shortened the route to 10K, but even that was too much. I simply stopped after 8K and walked home the rest.
