Breakfast Smoothie

My daily drinkable breakfast is getting more intricate with all those ingredients I keep finding. Not only local fruit like soursop, which I recently used for the first time, but also all kinds of nuts & seeds.

While some of this stuff is not cheap to come by here (almonds, chia, flax) others are surprisingly affordable, like basil seed.

So, every morning, while whisking around the kitchen, getting Julius’ lunch ready and making sure everyone has breakfast, I keep collecting my favorite fruits (even vegetables, like leafy greens or leftover carrot / bean from last night’s dinner), soak some of the seeds and throw it all together, every day a bit different.
