Children’s Festival @ Piazza Castello

Today was some kid’s festival in the center of Turin. We have not been there in a while and the weather was just great. It included a lot of walking and some waiting, but it was great fun.

The main attraction (at least for Julius) was a lil’ fire fighter’s training course which ended with putting out some fire at the end of the course.

What I liked best was a set-up under the porticos of board games. No cheap distraction stuff with blinking lights, just good old fashioned board game fun and no coins to put into anywhere.

We are strongly thinking about getting a batch of classic board games, but to get them in English, we probably need to order them from the UK.

Other highlights were gelato at GROM and kebab at Sindbad.
